Refund & Returns Policy

This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all purchases of Asteronil made through Bioflushing. We are committed to complying with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), as contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a remedy if a product has a "major failure" — that is, if it:
- is significantly different from its description or our sample;
- is not of acceptable quality (i.e., not safe, durable, free from defects or fit for its usual purpose);
- does not do what we indicated it would do; or
- is unsafe.
If a major failure occurs, you may choose to receive a full refund, a replacement product, or compensation for any reduction in value.
For a minor failure, we may choose to repair, replace or provide a refund.
These rights apply independently of any additional policy we may have and cannot be excluded or limited by us.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible to return a product under our policy, the following conditions must generally be met:
- You must contact us within 30 days of receiving your order;
- The product must be in its original, unopened packaging (unless the defect is only apparent upon opening);
- You must provide proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt);
- The return must relate to a genuine product issue — not simply a change of mind (see Section 3 below).
3. Change of Mind
We are not required by law to accept returns for change of mind. However, we may choose to do so at our discretion. If we agree to a change-of-mind return, the product must be unopened, in original condition and returned within 14 days. Return shipping costs in such cases are at the customer's expense.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged in transit or if you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you, including return shipping where required.
5. How to Initiate a Return
- Contact us at the details below, describing the issue and attaching your proof of purchase.
- We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
- If approved, we will provide a return address and instructions. Do not return goods without prior approval.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process a refund within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund (unless subject to a consumer guarantee under the ACL):
- Opened products that have been partially consumed (other than where a defect is present);
- Products that have been stored improperly or damaged by the customer;
- Products purchased from unauthorised third-party sellers.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution but typically take 5–10 business days after we have approved the return.
8. Shipping Costs for Returns
Where a return is due to a product fault, incorrect item or damage in transit, we will cover return shipping costs. For all other approved returns, return postage is at the customer's expense.
